Ready stock — sometimes called spot stock — is apparel that is finished, inspected and available for immediate sale. Unlike made-to-order wholesale, there is no production wait: confirm the lot, complete export paperwork, and ship.
Pakistani manufacturers hold ready stock for two reasons: overproduction against confirmed orders, and speculative production for fast-moving basic categories. Both reach international buyers at below-production pricing.
Ready stock vs made-to-order
Made-to-order gives you your design at wholesale lead times of 60–120 days. Ready stock gives you existing export-quality garments in days, at lower cost, limited to what currently exists. Many distributors blend both: ready stock for fast turns and price tiers, production for their core lines.
Categories we most often find in ready stock
Basic knits (T-shirts, polos, tank tops), fleece (hoodies, sweatshirts, joggers), kidswear ranges and seasonal woven goods. Basic-category ready stock is the most consistently available; fashion-heavy categories move in and out of availability.

How fast can ready stock ship?
Typically within days of confirmation, subject to export documentation and vessel schedules. No production time is required because the goods already exist.
Is ready stock cheaper than production?
Per piece, usually yes — factories price ready stock for recovery rather than margin. Your final landed cost depends on lot pricing, freight and duties at destination.
